Hi. I’m Meredith and I'm passionate about Waldorf Education.
I've been a class teacher for over 12 years and I love supporting teachers. I'm an expert at helping teachers develop systems and rhythms to make their teaching more effective and efficient. Over the years I've become convinced that Waldorf teaching doesn't need to be a journey of self-sacrifice and it's my mission to help teachers experience how fulfilling and life-giving this profession can be. Years in the classroom, working with my own students and observing other teachers, have shown me that the greatest fulfillment comes when we are serving our students and families most effectively. My work is all about serving these three groups -- teachers, students and parents -- to create solutions that inspire growth.
Through my blog, A Waldorf Journey, I've connected with countless teachers, giving advice on classroom management, curriculum planning and assessment and reporting. My readers have found further inspiration in my podcast, where I chat about topics relevant to Waldorf Education.
Through these two platforms, I've realized that technology can create community and allow teachers to tap into helpful resources they wouldn't otherwise be able to access. My virtual group mentorship programs are perfect examples of how technology can make mentorship an affordable resource for young schools and developing teachers.
