Evaluation

About Meredith

When school leadership needs to formally check in and hold a teacher accountable, evaluation is the best option.

Evaluation is different than mentorship.

A mentor is a confidant and advisor who is solidly in the mentee's corner.

An evaluator's allegiance is to the school.

I've provided evaluation services many times, providing insight and suggested action for school leadership.

Email me about my evaluation services.

My evaluation services include:

  • A full two-day observation
  • Two hour-long meetings with the teacher (one on the first day, one at the end of the second day)
  • One hour-long closing meeting with school leadership
  • A recommended format for anonymous feedback from colleagues and community members
  • A comprehensive report with detailed observations and recommendations

Testimonials

"Meredith has been a consistent participant in the external evaluation process for the Corvallis Waldorf School for a number of years. Through clear and thoughtful communication and active listening and observation, she has provided support and insight to many of our teachers. Meredith has a kind and gentle approach to her work with faculty.

Her detailed written evaluation summaries have helped both the faculty and administration gain a deeper understanding of the art of teaching grades 1-8. Additionally, Meredith has provided administration with guidance for how best to administer the follow up professional development needed to support her pedagogical and practical suggestions. It has been a thoroughly positive experience to work with Meredith. "

Mary Dunn, Pedagogical Director, Corvallis Waldorf School
