Teaching Waldorf Middle School can be fun.

(Really!)

The Waldorf middle school curriculum is challenging, inspiring and, for the teacher, a little intimidating. Our middle school students are highly-capable and hungry for content that will make them think, feel and work hard.

Every day, Waldorf teachers strive to create innovative, engaging lessons, with minimal resources. We collaborate with other teachers, search the internet and spend hours learning new content to give our students what they need.

But preparing a challenging middle school curriculum doesn't have to be so hard. Starting out with tried-and-true suggestions, resource recommendations and from-the-trenches advice can go a long way towards making your job easier.

That's where A Waldorf Journey comes in.

WALDORF MIDDLE SCHOOL CURRICULUM GUIDES

For 11-12 year-olds.

These students, who are just entering middle school, need form and structure. That's what the sixth grade curriculum is all about.

For 12-13 year-olds.

Seventh grade is a year when students turn inward. The Waldorf curriculum reveals this reflective quality.

For 13-14 year-olds.

Eighth graders are getting ready to turn the world upside-down in high school. "Revolution" is the theme of the year.

My middle school curriculum guides give you just the boost you need to create main lesson blocks that will engage and inspire your students. They're not a pre-packaged curriculum, but they will inspire you to craft your own organized and imaginative content.

In each guide you will find:

An explanation of the main lesson format

Block outline, summary and overview

Day-by-day curriculum content

Ideas for review activities

Photos of main lesson pages

Handouts, dictations and block tests

A block summary and evaluation form

Primary resource suggestions

Guides are sold individually, so you can pick and choose the guides you need for the year, rather than spending money on a complete curriculum.
